3. COOKIES
To make the visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e., after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us or our partner companies (third-party cookies) to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). If cookies are set, they collect and process certain user information, such as browser and location data as well as IP address values, to an individual extent. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie.
In some cases, the cookies serve to simplify the order process by storing settings (e.g., remembering the contents of a virtual shopping cart for a later visit to the website). If personal data is also processed by individual cookies we implement, the processing is carried out in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, either for the performance of the contract or in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR to protect our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the page visit.
We may work with advertising partners who help us make our online offer more interesting for you. For this purpose, cookies from partner companies may also be stored on your hard drive (third-party cookies) when you visit our website. If we work with the aforementioned advertising partners, you will be individually and separately informed about the use of such cookies and the scope of the information collected in the paragraphs below.
Please note that you can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to decide individually whether to accept them or to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. These data are stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, then the additional legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted after the final processing of your request if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been fully resolved and provided that there are no statutory retention requirements.
5. DATA PROCESSING WHEN OPENING A CUSTOMER ACCOUNT AND FOR CONTRACT PROCESSING
In accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, personal data will continue to be collected and processed if you provide us with this data for the performance of a contract or when opening a customer account. The data collected can be seen from the respective input forms. You can delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the above-mentioned address of the controller. We store and use the data you provide for contract processing. After the contract has been fully processed or your customer account has been deleted, your data will be blocked with regard to tax and commercial retention periods and deleted after these periods have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or a legally permitted further data use is reserved by us, about which we inform you below.
6. USE OF YOUR DATA FOR DIRECT ADVERTISING
6.1 Subscription to our Email Newsletter
If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your email address. The provision of any other data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that we will only send you an email newsletter after you have expressly confirmed that you consent to the sending of newsletters. We will then send you a confirmation email asking you to confirm that you wish to receive future newsletters by clicking on a corresponding link.
By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. When you register for the newsletter, we store your IP address, entered by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), as well as the date and time of registration, to trace any possible misuse of your email address at a later date. The data collected when you register for the newsletter will be used exclusively for the purpose of addressing you in advertising via the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided in the newsletter or by sending a corresponding message to the controller mentioned above. After unsubscribing, your email address will be immediately deleted from our newsletter distribution list unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration.
6.2 Sending the Email Newsletter to Existing Customers
If you have provided us with your email address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers for similar goods or services from our range via email. In this case, we do not need to obtain separate consent from you. The data processing is carried out solely based on our legitimate interest in personalized direct advertising in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you initially objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, we will not send you any emails. You have the right to object to the use of your email address for the aforementioned advertising purposes at any time with effect for the future by notifying the responsible party mentioned at the beginning. This will only incur transmission costs according to the basic rates. Upon receiving your objection, the use of your email address for advertising purposes will be immediately discontinued.

7.1 The personal data we collect will be shared with the transportation company tasked with delivery, as necessary to fulfill the contract. Similarly, your payment data will be shared with the financial institution responsible for processing the payment, if required for payment processing. If third-party payment service providers are used, we will inform you explicitly as follows. The legal basis for this data sharing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
7.2 Use of Payment Service Providers (Payment Services)

• Credit Check: PayPal reserves the right to conduct a credit check for the payment methods “credit card via PayPal,” “direct debit via PayPal,” or—if offered—“purchase on account” or “installment payments” via PayPal. Your payment data may be forwarded to credit agencies for this purpose, based on PayPal’s legitimate interest in determining your solvency, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The result of the credit check, which may include score values, is used by PayPal to decide whether to provide the respective payment method. The credit report may contain probability values (known as score values). These score values are based on scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical procedures and may include address data, among other factors. For further information on data protection, including the credit agencies used, please refer to PayPal’s privacy policy: PayPal Privacy Policy.

10. ONLINE MARKETING
10.1 DoubleClick by Google
This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google, operated by Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“DoubleClick”).
DoubleClick uses cookies to display relevant ads to users, improve campaign performance reports, or prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google uses a cookie ID to track which ads are displayed in which browser, ensuring that they are not shown multiple times. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to track conversions related to ad requests. This occurs, for example, when a user views a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser’s website using the same browser and makes a purchase. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google’s server. We have no control over the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through this tool and therefore inform you to the best of our knowledge: By integrating DoubleClick, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google may associate your visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, there is still the possibility that the provider may obtain and store your IP address.
If you wish to opt out of this tracking process, you can disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com at Google Ads Settings, although this setting will be removed if you delete your cookies. Alternatively, you can obtain information and manage your cookie preferences through the Digital Advertising Alliance at www.aboutads.info. Finally, you can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set, allowing you to decide on a case-by-case basis whether to accept them, exclude cookies in specific cases, or generally decline them. Please note that disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.
Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-European data protection agreement “Privacy Shield,” which ensures compliance with the data protection standards applicable within the EU.

10.2 Use of Google AdWords Conversion Tracking
This website uses the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and, within the framework of Google AdWords, conversion tracking by Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). We use the services provided by Google AdWords to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising materials (so-called Google AdWords) on external websites. In relation to the data from the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. Our goal is to show you advertisements that are of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you, and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.
The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on a Google AdWords ad. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. These cookies generally expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected through the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can block this use by disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie through your internet browser’s user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. We use Google AdWords based on our legitimate interest in targeted advertising in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-European Privacy Shield agreement, which ensures compliance with the data protection standards applicable in the EU.

11. Web Analytics Services: Google (Universal) Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension, which ensures that the IP address is anonymized by truncation and prevents direct personal identification. As a result, your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In these exceptional cases, this processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.
On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to us. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to fully use all the functions of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
Alternatively, to the browser plugin or within browsers on mobile devices, please click the following link to set an opt-out cookie that will prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on this website in the future (this opt-out cookie only works in this browser and only for this domain, if you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click this link again): Disable Google Analytics
Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-European Privacy Shield agreement, which ensures compliance with the data protection standards applicable in the EU.
This website also uses Google Analytics for a cross-device analysis of visitor flows, which is carried out using a user ID. When a page is accessed for the first time, the user is assigned a unique, permanent, and anonymized ID, which is set across devices. This allows interaction data from various devices and sessions to be assigned to a single user. The user ID does not contain any personal data and does not transmit such data to Google.
You can object to the collection and storage of data via the user ID at any time with effect for the future. For this purpose, you must disable Google Analytics on all systems you use, for example, in another browser or on your mobile device.
You can disable it using a browser plugin from Google (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).

12) RETARGETING/ REMARKETING/ RECOMMENDATION ADVERTISING
Facebook Custom Audience via the Pixel Method
This website uses the “Facebook Pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Facebook”). With your explicit consent, this tool can track the behavior of users after they have viewed or clicked on a Facebook advertisement. This process is designed to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes and can help optimize future advertising efforts.
The data collected through this method is anonymous to us, meaning it does not reveal the identity of the users. However, Facebook stores and processes the data, which allows it to be connected to the respective user profile, and Facebook may use this data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with its Data Usage Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). This may enable Facebook and its partners to display advertisements both on and outside of Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes.
These processing activities are conducted only with your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent to the use of the Facebook Pixel can only be granted by users who are over 13 years of age. If you are younger, please ask your legal guardians for permission.
Facebook Inc., based in the USA, is certified under the US-European data protection agreement “Privacy Shield,” which ensures compliance with the data protection standards applicable within the EU.
To disable the use of cookies on your computer, you can adjust your internet browser settings so that no cookies are placed on your computer in the future, or you can delete cookies that have already been stored. However, disabling all cookies may result in some functions on our websites no longer being available. You can also disable the use of cookies by third-party providers, such as Facebook, on the website of the Digital Advertising Alliance: Digital Advertising Alliance Choices.
Google AdWords Remarketing
Our website utilizes the functions of Google AdWords Remarketing, allowing us to advertise this website in Google search results and on third-party websites. The provider is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in the browser of your device, which automatically enables interest-based advertising using a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you have visited. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our website according to Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.
Further data processing will only occur if you have consented to Google linking your web and app browsing history with your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize ads you see on the web. If you are logged into Google during your visit to our website in this case, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, Google temporarily links your personal data with Google Analytics data to form target groups.
You can permanently deactivate the setting of cookies for ad preferences by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/. Alternatively, you can visit the Digital Advertising Alliance website at www.aboutads.info to learn about the setting of cookies and manage your settings. Finally, you can set your browser to inform you when cookies are set and individually decide whether to accept them or exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general. If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be limited.
Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-European Privacy Shield agreement, which ensures compliance with the data protection standards applicable in the EU. 13.1 The applicable data protection law grants you comprehensive data subject rights (rights of access and intervention) against the data controller regarding the processing of your personal data, which we inform you about below:
• Right to Access according to Art. 15 GDPR: You have the right to obtain information about your personal data processed by us, the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data processed, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom your data has been disclosed or will be disclosed, the planned storage period or the criteria for determining the storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to the processing, complaint to a supervisory authority, the origin of your data if not collected by us, the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, if applicable, meaningful information about the logic involved and the scope and intended effects of such processing, as well as your right to be informed of the safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR in case of the transfer of your data to third countries;
• Right to Rectification according to Art. 16 GDPR: You have the right to request the immediate correction of inaccurate data concerning you and/or to have your incomplete data stored by us completed;
• Right to Erasure according to Art. 17 GDPR: You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data under the conditions of Art. 17 (1) GDPR. However, this right does not exist, in particular, if the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
• Right to Restriction of Processing according to Art. 18 GDPR: You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data as long as the accuracy of your data contested by you is being verified, if you oppose the deletion of your data due to unlawful data processing and instead request the restriction of the processing of your data, if you need your data for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims after we no longer need this data once the purpose has been achieved, or if you have lodged an objection on grounds relating to your particular situation as long as it is not yet clear whether our legitimate grounds prevail;
• Right to Notification according to Art. 19 GDPR: If you have asserted the right to rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing against the controller, the controller is obliged to communicate any rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing to each recipient to whom the personal data concerning you has been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed about these recipients.

In the event of withdrawal, we will immediately delete the data concerned unless further processing can be based on a legal basis for processing without consent. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on the consent before its withdrawal;
• Right to Lodge a Complaint according to Art. 77 GDPR: If you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR, you have the right – without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy – to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.
13.2 RIGHT TO OBJECT
If we process your personal data on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest as part of a balancing of interests, you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation, with effect for the future.
If you exercise your right to object, we will cease the processing of the data concerned. However, further processing remains reserved if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms, or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
If your personal data is processed by us for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for such marketing. You can exercise the right to object as described above.
If you exercise your right to object, we will stop processing the data concerned for direct marketing purposes.
14) DURATION OF THE STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA
The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective statutory retention period (e.g., commercial and tax law retention periods). After the expiry of the period, the corresponding data is routinely deleted, provided it is no longer required for the fulfillment or initiation of a contract and/or there is no legitimate interest on our part in further storage.
